About the Position
The firm is looking to add an additional member to our legal and compliance team. You should be an enthusiastic self-starter who is willing to get involved and enjoy working in an intense and fast-paced work environment:
Assisting and working directly with the global legal and compliance team.
Negotiating and drafting commercial agreements such as market data agreements, broker terms, service
agreements and terms of business.
Responding to inquiries regarding contracts.
Working on implementing new regulations affecting the business.
Working with the legal and compliance team in relation to new projects, including exchange memberships
and other new business areas.
Where necessary, liaising with external counsel and other external advisors.
Assisting with client onboarding and responding to due diligence inquiries.
Maintaining highest levels of internal and external confidentiality.
About you:
1-3 years PQE in a corporate/commercial/derivative/regulatory team within leading law firms or financial institutions.
Must be proactive, detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Having hands on project or deal management experience.
Strong negotiation and writing skills.
Ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Positive, responsible, professional attitude and presence.
An intellectually robust capability and be able to articulate through their conclusions and the basis for their
analysis.
