The organisation is looking for this position stationed in Macau under the Company’s Macau branch reporting to the Head of Compliance. The successful candidate will provide all-rounded leadership and support relating to Macau Compliance, investigations, regulatory relations and any ad-hoc projects.

We are looking for someone with:
• Permanent Resident of Macau or willingness to relocate to Macau (subject to work visa being arranged).
• Experience in financial institutions, preferably a minimum of 7 years in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge and experience in AMCM regulations and requirements is a must.
• Demonstrated experience in regulator relationship management will be an advantage.
• Strong English and Chinese communication skills required.
• Ability to work with team members and BUs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
• Good MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing.
• Independent, analytical thinker, hard-working and solution orientated mindset.
On the job you will:
• Provide day-to-day advice, support to our Macau business and operations on distribution, product, cyber, investigations and other compliance matters (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Review and enhance the Macau Compliance framework, including review and preparation of policies, guidelines (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Handle AMCM and any other Macau regulator/Law Enforcement Authority enquiries, investigations (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Actively manage relationship with AMCM and any other Macau regulator/Law Enforcement Authority.
• Drive, manage and monitor any compliance and operational required remediation/enhancement works to ensure compliance with Macau regulations, laws and guidelines (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Review and keep abreast of any regulatory requirements, initiatives rolled out by a Macau regulator, carry out gap analysis and ensure timely implementation (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Handle consultations on draft regulations, guidelines rolled out by a Macau regulator (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Prepare and deliver training to Macau business and operations on regulatory, compliance requirements touching upon Macau business (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on Macau Compliance (except AML/ATF, CRS/FATCA, Privacy and Pension related).
• Lead and manage a small local team.
• Required travel to Hong Kong to carry out reporting to Head of Compliance twice a month.
• Lead, manage and coordinate ad-hoc company projects, initiatives where required.
• Act as team crisis call tree coordinator for Macau operations.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Compliance.
